WebDec 7, 2009 · The 42 rim is an altered Purviance 4*k4 rim. The size of the id is closest to a Bach Elkhart 5c. The feel, due to the high point and the shape of the inner edge, is closer to an early Elkhart 3c, only as one perceives it's size. It has nothing whatsoever to do with any Bach 10 1/2 or any other Bach rim. Absolutely nothing.
