Web18 okt. 2024 · Driving around the west side of Maui will take you on the Kahekili Highway. Death Highway of Maui is the nickname but I feel that is overrated. I’ve been on worst roads but it should be respected. First off, there isn’t a need to travel around the west side of Maui. Locals who live on that side of the island prefer their privacy.
